Lindsay LaVine’s writing has appeared in Fast Company, Entrepreneur, NBC News, Reuters, Yahoo, BlogHer and Business Insider.

She’s been invited to speak about blogging, social media, and protecting intellectual property by groups of writers, lawyers and standup comedians in New York, Boston and Chicago.

A pop culture and reality TV fan (hello Housewives!), Lindsay enjoys writing about leadership, productivity, business and lifestyle topics with a twist of the unexpected, like business lessons gleaned from Quentin Tarantino movies or how studying comedy improves leadership skills.

Lindsay is a graduate of Miami University and DePaul University College of Law and has worked at Chicago Magazine, WNCN NBC 17 News in Raleigh, North Carolina, and CNN in Atlanta. She completed the Second City Training Center’s writing program under Mary Scruggs, studied comedy writing at iO Theater (formerly The ImprovOlympic), Second City Training Center Hollywood, and essay/memoir writing at StoryStudio Chicago. She lives in Chicago.
